About

We are a team of 12 people working on medical information systems for Partners In Health (PIH), a non-profit that takes a solidarity-based approach to health care in the developing world. PIH provides primary care and specializes in the treatment of HIV and Multi-drug Resistant Tuberculosis in rural Haiti, Peru, Russia, Rwanda, Lesotho, Malawi, and Mexico. The EMR team develops and deploys web-based electronic medical records (EMRs) to help closely monitor patients and track laboratory data and drug regimens. We currently work with three systems: the PIH-EMR in Peru, the HIV-EMR in Haiti, and OpenMRS in Rwanda, Lesotho, and Malawi. The members of our team are:

Dr. Hamish Fraser, Director of Informatics and Telemedicine
